The Walther P99 is a compact duty pistol, with excellent ergonomics. It has a 15-round capacity and comes with two magazines included. The P99 AS features Walther’s revolutionary Anti-Stress Trigger, which is double action for an initial 9 lb pull and .6” travel to limit accidental discharge. After the first shot, the trigger switches to single action mode. At this point, the trigger reset only requires .31” of travel and a 4.5 lb pull for subsequent shots, which delivers the safety required for a duty weapon yet allows for fast performance when you need it. The slide features a manual decocker to engage the “Anti-Stress” double action mode for safe carry after the gun has been fired. Two drop safeties and a firing pin block add confidence to your carrying as well.

Target acquisition is fast and accurate with the handgun’s 3-dot polymer sights. The rear sight is adjustable for windage, and each is designed to be low-profile for a snag-free draw. The slide and barrel are both treated with a proprietary Tenifer TM coating to resist corrosion and give a matte finish. The slide’s rear serrations give a large tactile surface area with which to manipulate the slide. The slide stop release lever is oversized for easy operation, even with gloves on, and the grip features interchangeable backstraps for a custom fit to any size hands. The P99 AS uses a European style paddle lever magazine that allows for truly ambidextrous magazine changes.
