Price was excellent. Prompt shipping. All-around great transaction!
Gun should have shipped with two magazines and it only came with one. After multiple emails to gunprime I have yet to receive a second magazine. The gun is great but I’ll never buy from gunprime again.
Built like a tank, SUPERB trigger. Weighs as much as a Tank. Accurate as they come. Wonderful to hold. Beautiful to look at (to me, and that's what matters). There are many fine target .22's out there, but I know of none finer, unless you are talking mega-buck customs. I am torn between leaving it stock or putting a red dot on it, seems like cheating to do that with this, it is already a one hole pistol, it's just up to you to make that happen. My 2 cents, FWIW...
The S&W Model 41 still today stands alone in the world of Match rimfire arms, that have that old world charm and will last two lifetimes. Of course there are some slick new Match arms available now, but the cost is completely out of the range of the average person.
They are rarely in the used gun rack for a very good reason: those that own them shoot them! Get one while you still can..
PS.
Gunprime was a pleasure to work with! Two days shipping was remarkable. I'll be back...
