Description
The Smith Wesson M1917 DA45 is a double-action six-shot revolver chambered in 45 ACP. Due to a shortage of 1911s during both World Wars Smith Wesson was contracted to produce these revolvers in the same caliber as the 1911. A 5.5 barrel is adorned with a slot rear sight and a blade front sight. The smith and wesson performance center started making these again recently.
Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus original blue finish with only scattered scratches and minor edge wear along with distinct drag line on cylinder. Casehardened hammer and trigger are excellent. The grips are excellent with minor scratches and pressure dents from handling. Markings are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
