Description
Excellent condition. The revolver retains 90% original nickel finish showing some gray patina on the back strap and some scattered light flaking. Strong traces of original case colors on the trigger and hammer. Nearly all of the original blue remains on the barrel latch and trigger guard. The grips are also excellent with highly attractive color. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with half of the leather remaining.
Introduced in 1883, this example features a factory floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background. Around 95% of the surfaces are engraved. The rib has the two-line address/patent date information. Matching numbers are on the frame, barrel, barrel latch and cylinder. Comes with a period leather bound case featuring the initials "LEL" in gold on the exterior of the lid.
