LWRC IC-A2

The LWRC IC-A2 is a 5.56 NATO / .223 Rem semi-automatic carbine built on a Monoforge upper with an integrated rail base. It uses a 16.1 inch NiCorr-treated cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:7 twist, 1/2x28 threads, and an LWRCI A2 birdcage flash hider. A 9 inch quad rail gives full-length accessory mounting.

The operating system is LWRCI's short-stroke gas piston, accessed by two thumb screws. A nickel-boron coated bolt carrier and an LWRCI Enhanced Fire Control Group are standard. The lower is fully ambidextrous for bolt catch, magazine release, safety, and charging handle. Furniture includes an LWRCI adjustable compact stock, Magpul MOE+ grip, and LWRCI Skirmish backup iron sights. Overall length is 35.4 inches and weight is 7.3 lbs. One 30-round magazine is included.

This IC-A2 is well suited for duty, training, and recreational shooting. The piston system keeps heat and carbon out of the receiver. The 30+1 capacity and ambidextrous controls support hard use from either shoulder.
