The light weight is due to a spiral fluted bolt body, a fluted barrel, a fluted and hollowed bolt handle, one-inch medium Talley lightweight bases and rings, and a lightweight trigger guard. Other features include an Optifade open country finish with a shale gray fluted match grade barrel, a removable muzzle brake to reduce recoil, and a thread protector.
