Colt Single Action Army Revolver SAA 45 LC 5 1/2" First Generation with Factory Letter

Shipped to St. Louis, Missouri, 16 April 1902 with standard markings and features. The included factory letter confirms caliber, barrel length, and blue finish. Matching serial numbers on the frame and grip frame. The right grip panel has hand scratched initials "J.D.D.", and the left has a hand marking scratched out.

Rating Definition:

Very fine retaining 75% plus bright original high polish blue finish with thinning to brown and minor edge wear on the balance. 70% vivid original case colors remain. The left side of the barrel has an area of dark brown light pitting. The grips are also very fine with some minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
