The late, flat, checkered style toggle knobs with the scrolled DWM inscription, unmarked chamber, and stock lug are distinguishing features of this model. The left side of the receiver bears the Commercial Crown over N proof mark, and the serial number falls within the range of 73500 to 96000. The thumb safety has a serrated safety lever, marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, while the front sight is a dorsal fin-shaped blade, and the rear sight is a fixed V-notch in the rear toggle link. The extractor is marked "GELADEN" on the left side, and the grips are checkered walnut. The finish rust blue, while the ejector, magazine catch/release, takedown lever, thumb safety lever, and trigger are straw-colored. Approximately 13,000 of these 1919 Commercial Lugers were made, which means that they are uncommon.
