Was looking for a utilitarian rifle in .444 Marlin that I wouldn't be afraid to actually use in the field. This CVA fit the bill perfectly! Actual stainless steel (not ceracoat) construction. Great trigger (3.1 lbs with zero creep) and impressive accuracy (group pic @ 100 yards)... which is not surprising, as the Scout's barrel is made by Bergara. 100% would recommend both the CVA Scout AND GunPrime.
