I found a gun I was looking for an a fair price I purchased it without any problems and within the next 12 hours they had it shipped and on my way to my FFL I would definitely purchase from here again
Gunprime was easy to work with. They shipped fast, and when I had an issue they quickly handled it. I’d definitely buy from them again.
The gun itself is good, but not great. The 92X series is made in TN instead of Italy, and as much as I hate to say it they aren’t as good as the Italian made ones; I have a 92FS that was made in Italy and the quality is flawless. A little disappointing since the 92X series is supposed to be an upgrade from the previous 92 line. Still, it’s a decent gun and the updates are cool, but personally if I was to do it over I’d just save up a little more and get the LTT version instead.
I picked up the Beretta 92X Compact for personal carry after my time in the service, since I really liked my M9 pistol I had before. This 92X really is just a sweet pistol and, despite its size and weight, is definitely concealable with a good holster and belt, I use the dalltech superbio belt and a clinger hinge holster. The 92X was advertised as in new condition and it arrived without any problems and came exactly as described, with 3 magazines. The case Beretta puts their pistols in are pretty much junk however, one of the clips was completely missing on arrival, but it doesn't bother me at all because the gun is either in my holster or in my safe anyway and I just keep the case around to hold extra mags and it does that just fine... Be warned though, if you're gonna conceal this pistol and if you don't use a holster with some kind of material between the grips and your side, the aggressive sandpaper-like texturing on the grip will definitely chew at your side. You can fix this with getting some aftermarket grips or just getting some emery cloth and smoothing out the edge that digs into you, or just get a holster that protects your side from the grip, so it's not a big deal. As for the aftermarket grips part... the only place I have been able to find aftermarket grips for is VZ grips, and LOK grips, they're the only places I've been able to find aftermarket grips designed to fit the 92X compact, and the 92FS compact grips WILL NOT fit your 92X compact clearly because of the black backstrap vertec frame. The stock grips are perfectly comfortable though as they are, and if you prefer the good old hump on the regular 92FS, your pistol will come with a second set of grips that have a wrap-around on the back that makes it just like the FS grip. Also, the stock factory magazines hold 13 rounds, however there are aftermarket magazines that fit flush that hold 15 rounds, that are very quality. I would recommend picking up those magazines for carry, and having the 13 round mags around as a spare. I'm planning on upgrading the sights with some Ameriglo's spartan night sights, and maybe changing out the grips, but i might just stick with these regular grips. Overall, I'm very pleased with my pistol, it's a Beretta 92 series after all, extremely robust, reliable, accurate, hefty, and a good looking gun that is juuuust small enough to comfortably carry but definitely large enough to shoot comfortably.
Yes, I would buy it again. the X grip took me by surprise on how good it feels. Not your daddy's 92fs. Everything was improved on a already great gun! Gunprime was so fast in shipment and hassle free on checkout. I will be back.
First thing I did once I picked this guy up was tossed a decocker kit into it and it was ready to go. The 92X grip angle is awesome and the improved wrap around grip is much better than the M9a3 hogue grip. Shoots very smooth especially for its size. Simple enough to throw in a 20rd Mag and do some work with it. Great gun and incredible price from GP.
Looked around for a month. Price was the best I could find anywhere. Nice gun. No issues.
I am a first time handgun buyer and couldn’t find what I wanted at a local store. I was nervous about buying on-line from GunPrime but everything worked out great. The price was the best I could find and it shipped to my local FFL in only two days. Everything worked out better than expected.
Pros:
Fires like a champ, with zero jams or failure to eject across a wide variety and quality of ammunition.
Accurate! Beretta is on to something with this barrel locking design.
It stands out. Fairly unusual to see one out in the wild, so to speak, and you'll have a nice firearm that nearly no one else is carrying. (No offense to all our friends carrying Glocks, M&PS, XDs, etc)
Cons:
It's a little more pricey than the competitors listed above, but it's also a different style of gun and is fairly unique.
Weight. It's nothing you can't deal with (I concealed carry mine), but you'll notice a difference coming from a Glock or similar firearm.
Overall, love the gun, love the service, and best of all, loved the price. This is my 3rd gun to buy from GunPrime and I'm not really sure why I would go looking elsewhere.
these guys are hard to reach via phone or email; however, when you do reach them they are very easy to work with. i will use them again.
