I have a lot of guns, but this one is probably one of my favorites. The build quality is great, and feels as solid as my DD guns. I've been shooting the 6.5mm platform for over 30 years ".264 win mag" and this small platform delivers big time. The short barrel does not hinder this caliber or gun at all. Can easily shoot 400yds on target. My eyes are too old for mile shots now anyway. Gunprime shipped fast and had an excellent price.

I WOULD RECOMMEND!

This is the base Highlander no-frills model; nothing fancy. I immediately replaced the mil-std trigger with a Rise 4.5# trigger, the hand grip, and added a Sig RDS. In sighting in at 50 yds it took 4 shots (3 adjustments) and I was on the 1" target bullseye, and the 5th shot w/o adjustment also nailed it again about 3/8" away. I put 35 rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly for every shot. Average 5 shot groups were 1.5" at 50 yds with the RDS, which is about as good as I can expect with my eyes. A scope would likely cut that from 3 mils to 1 mil or better, but bench rest accuracy isn't what this gun is about. It is a good, sub-machine gun sized pistol, with a stock (technically a 'brace') that extends far enough to shoulder. Good for when you need more range or stopping power than a pistol; likely good out to 300 yds (~15" drop) with an adequate rest. In 6.5 Grendel it puts out 1400+ ft-lbs muzzle energy and makes a bigger hole than a .223.

Well constructed, however the standard trigger was really gritty but that was of little consequence as I had always intended to replace with a 2 stage from La Rue or Stern Defense. I had a problem with the extractor and contacted Alexander - they fixed immediately (3 work day turn around) and returned with the only questions asked pertaining to describing the problem. Outstanding outfit and their product is great
