1981 Savage 440 28" O/U 12 GA Shotgun - Italian FABARM All-Purpose Shotgun!

Savage 440. A Savage branded Italian over/under shotgun, this Fabarm (Fabrica Bresiciana Armi) produced 12 gauge is a great do-it-all shotgun. Barrels are about a 27.5" length and are fitted with a low vent rib and double brass beads. Full choke over modified choke. 14" length of pull. Condition is a very good used. Bluing on metal surfaces had turned somewhat brown with age but is fully intact with no rust or pitting. Wood is in good shape with no gouges or major dents but with some peeling varnish which could be touched up fairly easily. A lightweight and sweet-shooting gun with more provenance than its name would suggest, this nice handling shotgun would make for a great addition to your upland or skeet gun collection and is a perfect "second gun" for the occasional hunting trip plus one.
