Description
1944 Inland Manufacturing Division M1 Carbine. Dated to December of 1944, this Inland M1 shows a full set of late features including a bayonet lug, low wood, sliding rear sight, and a thirty round magazine. This stock has additionally been cut for M2 controls - this is not unusual and most M1s retained in inventory after WW2 had their stocks arsenal modified to accept M2 parts if necessary. Condition is very fine. All parkerized surfaces retain original color except for trigger guard has browned somewhat. Original 30 round magazine shows some browning but operates correctly. Wood is very nice with some minor service wear on the left side of the stock. A very nice example of a late war M1 Carbine.
